July Favorites! (Beauty)

Goodbye July, hellooo August! I can’t believe another month has flown by, do you know what this means?! This means we’re only 50+ something days away from Fall time! (Obviously I’m excited & I cannot wait)

I originally anticipated to bring you guys a different blog today, but I honestly haven’t had as much time as I wish I did so instead I’ll be sharing a few products I’ve been loving this past month! I will save what I’ve been up to for another blog so here I am today, bringing you yet another beauty post. I also have to say that I’m really enjoying making these so I hope you don’t mind seeing more of these in the future!

EYES:

Let’s start off with the beautiful & amazing, super pigmented, & limited edition, Sephora Pro Palette If & when I’m doing my makeup these days and if I’m not reaching for my JaclynHillXMorphe palette (another fave!), this is the palette I’m reaching for. I posted some swatches on Snapchat & on my Instagram story when it first came in, and holy PIGMENT. This palette has easily become one of my faves! The pigment on these shimmers & the palette in general, really blew me away. The mattes are really velvety & creamy and they are really easy to work with when blending. The only con I can say about this palette is that a lot of these shadows come with kickback, so things can get messy if you’re not careful when using them. I also couldn’t help but notice that this palette looks almost identical to the Natasha Denona palette, so if you’re ballin’ on a budget & aren’t willing to spend $200+ on a palette, then look no further because this is truly amazing as they say it is! I also love that this palette is both summer AND fall friendly, hello Fall looks!

The new Loreal Voluminous Lash Paradise has got to be my favorite mascara yet! I’m sure you’ve all heard about it by now, so there’s not much to say other than it’s amazing & you must try it to see that the hype is real! I’m not much of a falsies kind of girl so this mascara gives me all the length & volume I need for an every day makeup look.  Best thing about it is that it’s drugstore so its very inexpensive, I picked mine up at Target!

LIPS:

If you read my last beauty post, you saw I mentioned that I was over the liquid lipstick trend so when I saw that Dose of Colors was coming out with satin lipsticks, I was overly excited & I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them. I started off with 3 from their newest Lip It Up Satin Lipsticks collection, of course I went with neutrals & nudes (what else is new, right?), & I absolutely LOVE them! They are very rich in formula & pigment but most importantly, they wear nice & comfortably on the lips throughout the day. They aren’t drying & they leave a slight shine to the lips, just what I’m looking for in lippies now a days. I hope they add more to their collection because I’m loving these lipsticks & I definitely want to get more in the future! If you’re over the liquid lipstick trend like myself or have been wanting to try these, you can check them out here. I went with the colors: Butterscotch (nude beige), Brûlée (pinkish beige), & Toast (brown beige).

SKINCARE:

Over the last couple of years, I’ve been using almost nothing but all natural skin care products handmade by fellow Instagramer SweetfaceByRocio. One of my favorites from her site this month has been one of the most popular known products from her line, the famous Brow Reviver, and wow. It really works! I’ve had my fair share of different shapes & types of brows over the last few years & now that they’re fully grown out, there were some sparse areas in which hair never really grew back so I gave this product a shot & after a few weeks of using this, I’ve finally seen results! I really wish I had a before and after pic but you can see all the reviews under this product & you’ll see that this product has worked for many others! Her skincare line consists of many different collections, all aiming to help improve problematic skin along with rejuvenating & making skin naturally beautiful! My all time favorite is The Skin Perfecting collection and I highly suggest checking out her products because they’re truly amazing & have helped me love my skin after finding these magical products! If you do decide to check out her site & order a few products, please make sure that you check out her shipping policy before doing so because orders do take some time to arrive to its destination since she makes them all herself. Once you try her products you’ll see that they’re very worth the wait & know when to order in advance the next time!

& last but not least, HAIR:

Lets be honest, now that I’m a mom of 3, ain’t nobody got time to be washing that hair every day or two so dry shampoo has become my best friend over the last couple of months. I got this EVA NYC Freshen Up Dry Shampoo in one of my Bless Boxes & I fell in love with the smell! It doesn’t leave that white residue like other ones I’ve tried in the past & I also find that it’s very inexpensive compared to other dry shampoos in the market & that’s always a win! Along with this hair product, I’ve also been loving Ouai’s Wave Spray to hold my waves in place. It adds some volume to this flat hair of mine when I actually have time to do something to it. Both of these 2 products smell amazing & give my dull hair so much life!

________________

Those were all my favorites for July & I hope that you get to try anything I mentioned above & would love to hear if it worked out for you as well! What were some of your favorites this month? What are some products you think I would love & enjoy?

Wishing you all a happy & sunny rest of the summer!

XO,

Sally

    1. It’s such a great palette to add to your collection! I’m still going back & forth between that one & the Jaclyn Hill Morphe Palette. Love the colors’ blend-ability & pigmentation!
