I’ve neglected my blog yet again but instead of giving you guys excuses this time around, I decided to put together a blog of some photos from our last trip to Arizona. I find myself pushing my blog to the last of my priorities on my list & I do apologize for that. It may take me longer than most, but here I am continuing my journey.
“Where there is a will, there is a way.”
A few weeks ago, we made a trip to see some Family in Mesa, Arizona, and the road there & back was pretty fun to say the least (at least for me it was). Road trips with the kids can be pretty hectic at times, but I honestly love nothing more than those little trips we make from time to time. I love the experience of it all. The singing, the eating, the snacking, the nursing pit stops, random photo taking, & of course the packing & unpacking that happens weeks later. I love it all minus the crying, whining, fighting, & the infamous “are we there yet?” question that is asked a million times before we actually arrive to our destination.
We had a pretty chill weekend with my cousin & her family. Nothing too fancy but all was right with the world. We did our coffee runs during the morning, and we had a cookout with family & friends the day of the Mayweather vs Mcgregor fight. The next morning (Sunday), we all went out for breakfast together & before I knew it we were on our way back home. I spent most of our time being present & leaving my camera & phone to the side that I didn’t manage to take a whole lot of pictures while we were actually there. I did manage to take a few shots while being on the road and a few here & there when going out for some tacos. The kids had such a blast and did a lot of jumping around & playing throughout the weekend they slept most of the entire drive home.
Visiting my cousin & her family has become one of our favorite things to do as a family. Her husband & mine have become great friends, and watching both of our kids play together has to be my favorite yet. They’ll be adding a princess to their family in the upcoming year and I can’t wait to go back & see the growth in her baby bump. All the Dutch Bros’ coffee runs and pretty cacti sceneries in AZ are just the cherry on top of our trips!
I mentioned taking a few shots while being on the road…
Sadly, there are times when I don’t take out my camera for months so I’ve been practicing my photography a little more than usual these days. Something about photography that I feel the need to capture it all. Looking back at pictures always takes me back to the day they were taken, helping relive the experience & the moment of it all. And with that being said, here are some pics I shot while being on the road to and back.
I hope you all enjoyed & thank you so much for reading! See you in my next blog!
