Max’s First Birthday, December 8th, 2017

IMG_5784A baby’s first birthday is always special, but today isn’t just like any other “first birthday” we’ve had around here. Today is the last first birthday we’ll be celebrating and to say it’s bittersweet, is an understatement. There’s joy with a slight of sadness in my heart today. So many firsts in the past year & even though there’s more to come, I know that my baby is growing & boy is he growing fast. Almost hard to believe that 366 days ago, I was nesting at home and getting everything ready for the big day.

December 8th, 2016, the day my littlest came into the world and my how our lives have changed since then. A year has came & left in a blink of an eye, and our hearts couldn’t be happier & fuller without you my Max. Your personality has captured the hearts of everyone you’ve encountered & we can’t wait to watch you grow continuously in the years to come. You are the light of our lives and we all love you so very much. Happy birthday my littlest ray of sunshine, may the Lord always watch over you & bless you with many more.

“As long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be.”

A huge thank you to my best friend for capturing these adorable photos of my Max for his 1st birthday!
