My True Foundation-less, Mom Makeup Routine!

I’m so excited to finally be sharing my go-to makeup routine as a mom! This one is for all my mamas (and non-mamas) that are looking for a true realistic go-to look when always on the run!

As much as I love a full faced glam, lets be honest, most days ain’t nobody got time for all of that. On most days I roam around the house makeup free, but on the days I’m able to spare 10-15 minutes to freshen up, this is what I usually go for when I want to look like a decent human.

Skincare, brows, concelear, highlight, mascara, a little blush, and usually a natural looking lip.

Concealer: Beside skincare, highlighter & concealer are major key in my case, these mama under eyes need all the help they can get. I start off by concealing under the eyes & any blemishes that I might want to erase from the face. I don’t necessarily set with powder since I’m going for that “natural” look. I use Tarte Shape Tape in color Light Neutral & it’s pretty much all I’ll ever used since it came into my life.

Brows are also very important in my opinion, I tend to go for a more natural looking brow & fill in sparse areas as needed only. I’ve been using Maybelline’s Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer thanks to Teni’s suggestion on Youtube, and I love it! On the days when I’m pressed for time, I use it alone and when I have an extra couple of minutes, I go in with my ABH brow powder in color Dark Brown & then use the Volumizer to set my brows in place.

Blush: I don’t always apply blush, but when I have a little extra time on my hands, I pack on just enough to bring some color back into my cheeks. I also add the tiniest amount (whatever’s leftover on the brush) to the top of my nose to give it that ” sun kissed” look. A rose pinky shade is usually my preference, I’ve been using this mini sample I was gifted in the color “Paaarty” by Tarte.

Mascara:  Any mascara will do and will bring some life back into your eyes once applied. I’ve been using this Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara I received in a previous Ipsy bag, and although I do love it, I’m more of a drugstore kind of girl when it comes to mascaras.

Lipstick: I tend to alternate between shades from time to time, but I mostly wear Velvet Teddy (MAC) with this particular makeup routine. I always go for an all natural, everyday looking lip and sometimes I add a little bit of gloss over it. If not lipstick, I wear a neutral lip liner or some chapstick and call it a day.

Highlighter: My go-to is usually Dose Of Colors’ Desi X Katy’s highlighter in Fuego, but on my foundation-less days I like a more subtle highlight that’s not too blinding, and Maybelline’s Master Chrome is just that. I basically apply this everywhere on my face to give me that healthy & glowy skin from within. Inner corners (eyes), brow bone, bridge of the nose, top of cheekbones, temples, & chin. Literally, everywhere. Applying highlighter is probably my favorite!

And that is pretty much what I call my “mom makeup” routine! This is what I do when I want to wear a little makeup but I don’t have a lot of time to apply it. I like to look healthy & like I got more than 8 hours of sleep. Basically, a natural & better version of myself. Some days I love to pack on the cake, while other days I truly believe that less is more.

If you’re a mom or always on the go, do you apply little-to-no makeup when staying at home or running errands? What are some of your favorite go-to products at times like these?

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post! I hope you enjoyed my quick & easy, realistic go-to makeup routine!
