“If the stars were made to worship so will I” -Hillsong UNITED”
As you can see by the title of my post, I’m giving up Instagram for lent! The longest I’ve been away from the gram has been a week, and this time I’ll be off the grid for an entire 40 DAYS. At first, I was a little nervous considering the fact that Instagram’s the place where I get the most exposure & opportunities for any fun collabs, but now I am honestly SO excited to be taking some time off to focus on my family & I, and what truly matters.
As I mentioned in my previous post, taking time off from social media is so important, and I’m beyond excited to see the difference & the good this will do in my life. Going to enjoy this time to the fullest, and shift my entire focus to all of my top priorities. Along with serving & giving my family my all, and working on my relationship with God, I will also be tending to my blog consistently over the next few weeks.
“The Best is Yet to Come”
Now… If you didn’t catch it in my last post or if you don’t follow me on Instagram, I’m officially announcing on the blog that we’re expecting! Hello Baby No. 4!! We thought we were done after Max, but God had other plans for us. I’m currently 20 weeks along, and we couldn’t be more excited to grow our family once again.
The baby’s gender remains a mystery (currently waiting for an ultrasound), but either gender is fine with us! Now, of course we’d love to have a little girl after only having 3 boys, but given my history with past miscarriages and quite the scare we had a few weeks ago, all we hope and pray for is a healthy baby! So get ready for all the pregnancy & baby updates that are about to take place on this corner of mine here on the internet.
I can’t stress enough how I excited I am about all these changes coming in the near future. Beyond ready to be more present, and overall just excited for this new journey we’re embarking. I’ll be doing a lot of reading, journaling, and just living in the moment these next few weeks, and I’m so excited to share some of these special moments with you all.
